You're not in Milan anymore! Miami Beach, famous for its vibrant nightlife, sun-kissed beaches and hosting Art Basel Americas, in July became the number one destination for all things fashion. Elite designers descended on Miami Beach to showcase their brand's innovative and unique creations during dozens of fashion shows at SwimShow 2016 and FUNKSHION Fashion Week Miami Beach. Visitors and locals alike became a part of the action with satellite parties and events including MIAMI Magazine's Sun.Sand.SPLASHION with international DJs and lots of entertainment.

"Swim Week is just another example of how Miami Beach has cemented its place as a premier international hotspot for every type of visitor," says Peggy Benua, Chair, Miami Beach Visitor and Convention Authority (MBVCA). "Guests can enjoy the beach, visit museums, sample the famous restaurants and bars, and in July they can also attend first-class fashion shows; very few cities can offer all of this."

Miami Beach's incomparable cultural diversity, Art Deco architecture and majestic natural beauty make it the ideal venue for the creative fashion world.

Beach Babe: If you love the sun and the sand, invest in easy-to-transition beach to bar fashion. Freshen up your closet with designer one-piece swimsuits, swim shirts, breezy cover-ups, and bold accessories. Nautical is a huge trend this season, so slip on a white pleated maxi skirt over a bright red bathing suit and add a statement necklace with wedges and you're ready for the evening. Bring along a stylish designer carryall to function as both your beach tote and evening bag.
